The writ follows the release of Thriller 25 last year to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the ground-breaking music video, it is alleged.

John Landis, who made his name directing The Blues Brothers and Animal House, is alleged to be claiming through legal papers that Jackson withheld profits from him and that he is guilty of “fraudulent, malicious and oppressive” conduct.

Legal documents were reportedly filed at Los Angeles Superior Court last Wednesday by lawyers for Landis’s company Levitsky Productions.

The alleged papers have since been reproduced on entertainment website The Wrap.

Guess which one is the alien.
Landis’s lawyers reportedly accuse Jackson and the defunct production firm Optimum of failing to provide accounts for recent profits made from the marketing of Thriller and the accompanying “making of” documentary. Read the rest of this entry »

Leona Lewis arrived at Los Angeles International Airport on Wednesday (January 7) and was seen chatting on her phone as she waited for her luggage to show up. The British singer recently signed a book deal to tell the story of her journey from waitress to international star. Leona says the two years since winning the TV talent show X Factor have been “an unbelievable experience”.

“To have it documented in pictures and to be able to tell people in my own words how it feels means a lot to me.”

“I know the book will be full of special moments and I’m already having a brilliant time putting it together,” Lewis added.

The book, which will include more than 100 behind-the-scenes photographs taken by photographer Dean Freeman, will hit the shelves in October, shortly before the scheduled release of her second album.

“I can’t even describe to you how I felt. I’m actually right now fighting back tears because it’s just so emotional. I’m just so proud of my country.

This man was born for this. And he was born to lead us, and I just feel so inspired and so proud. I’m sorry, I’m so embarrassed. I’m just so lucky to be a part of this history.

It’s probably the most important day of my life, and I’m so grateful.”

“Honestly, of course, I’ve voted before, but I’ve never really watched the ceremonies. This is my first time being a part of it, and I’m here, and I’m singing … I’m so overwhelmed, you know. I have chills. He makes me want to be smarter; he makes me want to be more involved.”

obama 400x351 Obama sent by God to help Nation

One man can’t change America the word we is the bonding factor for change in America
If a man that has never meets you believe that we can change as nation why you don’t make a change.
Yes we can
We are all looking to Obama to make these changes in our lives; It may take decades or a lifetime to get this nation back in order
Our personal quests to become better Black American people, we need to change our ways of thinking and living in the struggle

Ask yourself: what change are you going make as black people to better the country or Will You
Will we continue to do black on black crime?
Will we continue to abandon our families?
Will we continue to not educate ourselves?
Will we continue to have generation after generation on welfare?
Will we continue not to raise our son not to be men?
Will we continue not to recycle the black dollars?
Will we continue to expect the teacher s to raise our kids?
Will we continue to leave are kids fatherless?
Will we continue to live on section 8 and never be home owners?
Will we continue to have credit score under 500?
Will we continue to support the liquor stores? Not your kids
Will we continue to support the drug deals? Not our kids
Will we continue to purchase Nike that cost $100 or not have a save account
Will we continue to purchase $ Gucci, Louise Vitton, Prada, Fendi purse with $ 1.00 in side, rent is due
Will we continue to purchase BMW, Mercedes, Range Rovers, and live in apartment or parent’s home?
Will we continue to live day to day not planning our future?
Will we continue not to love who god created us to be
Will we continue to look down on less homeless?
Will we continue to steal from the working people, by never getting a job and stay on welfare
Will we continue turn our head away from our neighborhood
Will we continue to look good on outside and broke on the inside?
Will we continue to hate on another brothers success
Will we continue not guide the youth in right direction
Will you continue to disrespect the elderly people who really fought for our right, and freedom of speech?
Will we continue not to know how to love from heart?
Will we continue not to follow the creator plans?
Change comes from within, that when you become a great nation. We need to look at ourselves and have the same respect for ourselves as we do for Obama to change.
God send great Men to lead his people for a reason:
But if the people don’t follow and change we all will be left in wilderness
Please don’t put this man live in vain change black America

Rapper-turned-reality TV star Snoop Dogg is selling his favorite outdoor dwelling on eBay to raise money for his Youth Football League. Instead of demolishing the shed, Snoop is giving his fans a chance to bid on the place where he penned many of his hits.

“I’ve had this shed since the turn of the century. I’ve beaten over 1,000 people in Madden in it, watched football game tapes, seen the Lakers win championships, and, most of all, written hits in it.”

Fans can watch the Doggfather say goodbye to his precious Dogg House before it’s lifted out of his backyard on this Sunday’s episode of ‘Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood,’ which airs at 10:30 p.m. on E! Read the rest of this entry »

That’s when the Atlanta educator saw the $365,000 check for the innovative private school he opened in one of the city’s poorest neighborhoods in 2007. It was, quite literally, an answer to a prayer.

“We teach school all day and fundraise at night,” said Clark, who finds private donors to pay most of the $14,000 annual tuition for each student. “To have an unsolicited gift come like that is incredible.”

Clark surprised his students with the news of the donation Wednesday morning in a gathering at the south Atlanta school. The children, parents and teachers erupted in deafening cheers when he showed off the check.
